Since I have to stick around Abilene for the day, I decided to explore the Antique Shops in town. And let me tell you, Abilene didn’t disappoint! I had the opportunity to visit 6 of these antique stores while I was in town. The first 2 were a bust for what I was looking for during this trip (Bunny Run Antiques & Barrow Street Antiques) but the other 4 (Gypsy Rose, Living Chic, Furniture Junk It & Antique Station) had some really great finds! Don’t get me wrong, there were some great treasures in all of them, but I was specifically hunting for Amber goblets and Blue & White plates (for 2 different brides on the Sugar Creek books). I cannot wait to make another day trip to Abilene (or maybe even a weekend trip?!) to shop these stores again and to shop the ones I missed due to timing!!
