You donโ€™t need more time โ€” you need a routine. Yo You donโ€™t need more time โ€” you need a routine.

Your garden isnโ€™t struggling because youโ€™re busyโ€ฆ itโ€™s struggling because youโ€™re inconsistent.

A strong routine is simple:

Walk your garden 10โ€“15 minutes, 3x a week.
Check soil moisture before you water.
Harvest a little, often.
Look under leaves for early pest signs.
Pull a few weeds before they take over.

Thatโ€™s it.

No marathon weekends.
No trying to do everything at once.
No reacting when something looks bad.

Consistency beats intensity every time.

When you show up regularly, small issues stay small โ€” and your garden actually starts working with you.

You donโ€™t need a bigger budget โ€” you need a better You donโ€™t need a bigger budget โ€” you need a better plan.

Iโ€™m saying this like your best friend: stop thinking you need a Pinterest garden to grow food.

On a small budget, you can realistically grow:

Leafy greens (lettuce, spinach, kale) โ€” fast, cut-and-come-again.
Bush beans โ€” cheap seeds, high yield.
Zucchini/squash โ€” one plant can feed you.
Herbs โ€” regrow, multiply, and save you money instantly.
Tomatoes from seed โ€” way cheaper than buying starts.
Green onions โ€” regrow from scraps over and over.

Skip the expensive setups.

Reuse containers.
Start from seed.
Build your soil with compost instead of buying a bunch of products.

Start with high-return crops and your garden pays you back.

Also consider: what you/your family likes (food waste = money waste); what you have room for & what will produce the best for where you live.

Hereโ€™s the full line-up of plants to consider: herbs, lettuce/greens, tomatoes, squash/zucchini, green beans, cucumbers, peppers, blackberries/raspberries, dried peas/beans

Ready for it?? ๐Ÿค” Donโ€™t freak out if you unalive Ready for it?? ๐Ÿค”

Donโ€™t freak out if you unalive a plant. Or two. Or three. Or ten. โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜†

Failure is part of gardening. And itโ€™s not always your fault when something dies. But sometimes it is your fault and I promise youโ€™ll be okay.

You might shed a few tears, but youโ€™ll be okay. ๐Ÿ’š
