Never buy onions seeds again!! Hereโ€™s how to save Never buy onions seeds again!!

Hereโ€™s how to save those seeds!

Onions are a biennial plant: start it from seed and then it bulbs. Put the bulb back in the ground and let it go to flower which then gives you seed once the flower dries out on the plant.

It will either do one or the other but not necessarily both in the same growing season.

Happy seed saving!

P.S. If you want a garden that protects itself โ€” without chemicals or constant guessing โ€” comment SYSTEM and Iโ€™ll DM you the link.๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š

Hereโ€™s the problem: People treat beans like the โ€œe Hereโ€™s the problem:
People treat beans like the โ€œeasy cropโ€โ€ฆโ€จthen accidentally stunt them from day one.
Beans are productive when you stop over-managing them.

1. Stop overfeeding them. Beans make their own nitrogen with the help of soil bacteria. They like balanced soil โ€” not fertilizer overload.

2. They need warm soil. Beans want: Soil temps above 65ยฐF to 70ยฐF+

3. They need to be direct sown. Beans usually hate transplanting. Just plant them straight into the garden. 1 inch deep. Keep soil evenly moist during germination. If you forget to soak overnight, no biggie. Just plant them anyway.

4. Give them full sun. Full sun = heavy harvests
This means: 6โ€“8+ hours minimum

5. Their airflow matters. Beans can get fungal disease FAST in humidity. Especially in Southern gardens. So: Donโ€™t overcrowd; Water soil, not leaves; Trellis pole beans well; Prune damaged leaves quickly.

6. They need to be picked regularly. Beans stop producing when pods mature fully on the plant.
The plant thinks: โ€œCool. Mission accomplished.โ€
So harvest often. Small to medium pods = best texture anyway; Frequent picking keeps plants producing.

7. Mulch changes everything in Southern heat
Hot dry soil stresses beans quickly. Mulch helps: regulate soil temp; reduce watering stress; prevent splash-up disease; improve soil life.

Beans are one of the fastest indicators of soil health. If your beans look weak:
* compacted soil
* poor microbial life
* inconsistent moisture
* nutrient imbalance
โ€ฆusually shows up FAST.

Companion planting matters here too
Beans benefit from: Dill, Nasturtiums, Radishes, Alyssum

Avoid planting beans too close to: onions, garlic, heavy allium competition
๐Ÿ‘‰ Beans prefer supportive neighbors, not bullies.
