Take notes!! 📝 Tip 1: pre-moisten your soil with Take notes!! 📝 Tip 1: pre-moisten your soil with warm water before filling your trays or pots (helps kick start germination & allows the soil to absorb water easily) Tip 2: add cinnamon to your soil (it’s an anti-fungal) - add a generous amount! Tip 3: keep tweezers handy to help you plant tiny seeds Tip 4: add vermiculite on top to help retain soil moisture & prevent fungal growth Tip 5: add a fan to the room for air flow Tip 6: timing matters!!! Make sure you start seeds relative to your frost dates (go to google and type in your zip code + frost dates for your exact info) Tip 7: planting depth matters for seeds!! The tinier the seed, the shallower the planting depth. This is the kind of garden knowledge that makes everything else easier.
