Planting out apple trees (Part 2) Hereโ€™s my proce Planting out apple trees (Part 2)

Hereโ€™s my process to planting out fruit trees (which is nearly identical to how I plant out in my garden):
1. Dig a hole (appropriate sizing for the tree about 2-3x the width of the bare roots and deep enough where the graft is at least 2โ€โ€™above backfill line/soil line)
2. Pour water into the hole
3. Add worm castings
4. Place the tree & backfill it in
5. Give it another good water
6. Add a stake to grow straight
7. Add a drip bucket for water supply

Looking forward to my fruit tree row to produce food for my family, my community and generations to come. ๐Ÿ’š

Thank you again @applegirlkait & @willowdrivenursery

This is something you should be doing in your gard This is something you should be doing in your garden at least 3x each week.

15 min Garden Bed Checks.

Spend 15 minutes walking your garden and just look at whatโ€™s going on.

Start in one section and make your way through:
Walk the beds.
Flip the leaves.
Check the stems.
Look for eggs.
Look for pests.
Look for beneficial insects.
Notice what changed since you last looked (or were harvesting/cleaning up).

In your next walk, go a different direction through your garden.

Change up which leaves you inspect. Walk a different path.

Itโ€™s a super simple habit but a lot of times we forget the simple things we should be doing in our garden.

If you want a garden that protects itself โ€” without chemicals or constant guessing โ€” comment SYSTEM and Iโ€™ll DM you the link.๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š
